la pasta di salsiccia

Growing up with an Italian background, pasta is one dish that just comes naturally. This is one I'm sure my Nonna would be proud of.

Sausage Spaghetti; I pan fried the sausage until it was cooked all the way through. I then sliced and added mushrooms, broccoli, red peppers, onions, and garlic until the onions looked transparent. I then added my Nonnas homemade pasta sauce to the cooked gluten-free spaghetti and mixed in the fried sausage and veggies. Topping it off with parmesan.

One recipe I would love to learn is my Nonna's homemade sausage and tomato sauce. Which is made with her homegrown tomatoes from her vegetable garden.
