lamb currant meat balls

Last christmas my brothers gave me The Best of Clean Eating 3 cookbook. One of the best gifts I have gotten to date. In the book I found a recipe that had both meat and dried fruit, which really intrigued me. And let me tell you I have not had this kind of a meal where lamb and fruit really complimented eachother the way this recipe did.

Made with ground lamb, currants, bread crumbs, egg, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, cinnamon, sea salt, pepper, cayenne. Baked and then topped with fresh parsley.

If you don't yet have this cookbook, I highly recommend you get it! Not only does it include photos (which I love in cookbooks!) but it has a few pages here and there on tips and tricks to keep in mind when cooking with certain foods.
